I’m sad that to see that the number of people who thinks Ramiel Malubay’s got talent is declining. In many of the blogs in AmericanIdol.com and many other blogs, they think Ramiele’s going to lose her chance even before reaching the final 5. That’s sad to know, isn’t it? But I can’t blame all these people because it’s true that Ramiele’s not giving out her best and what she can actually do yet. People expect a lot from her because everybody knows she really got the talent. It’s just sad that most of the contestants in the Final 11 already have stage and performing experiences and that they tend to perform better on stage. Since Ramiele hasn’t got that “experience” yet, she is still wandering blindly in the dark and still looking for the perfect spot to land in. I hope she’s got enough time to prove herself. She’d better be quick. I still trust that she can do it somehow. She may not be the next American Idol, but I know that at the end of the Reality Show, the different talent management here in the Philippines will be all over her–giving her contract. And when she releases her first Album, I know millions of Filipinos will go to record bars to buy it (including me). I even believe that she’s going to make it much far than Jasmine Trias.

the catch

Aside from the hope of having millions of fans, gigs, concerts, and producing multiples of albums, I still don’t know yet how much is the cash prize that American Idol Season 7 is going to give away. I have learned that the top 2’s going to bring home a car, and I’m not sure if it has a free gasonline for a lifetime gift card or even a auto insurance quote, but what kind of car is it if there are any? Maybe their giving away a limo or something from FORD Motors for the American Idol Logo almost look exactly like the Ford’s. haha. So what’s the catch? Do they receive an instant recording contract after winning? or do they produce an album after winning? I am still am not aware of the prize. But whatever it is, I know it’s way below the prize of having self-confidence, self-esteem, friends, fans, and “popularity”. I think that’s the best prize American Idol could give to these contestants. I just want to say good luck to all of them..and to those who have left the show: There’s always a thing called 2nd, 3rd, infinite chance..

PS
Congratulations to Danny Noriega.. he hasn’t won the show but I’m sure he has gathered more fans than ever..plus he got a cruise luxury tour for two from Rose O’donell and he got an interview from Ellen Degeneres already which I think is a fab.

never been into something like this

Ever since American Idol Season 7 has started, I kept on blogging about it, viewing youtube videos, posting comments in every good website that I come across into, and logging in to AmericanIdol.com. After Pinoy Big Brother season 2, this is only the first time in my entire lifetime that I get addicted to TV shows such as the AmericanIdol. If you want me to name my American Idol bets, they are: Ramiele Malubay, David Cook, Carly Smithson and Brooke White. Among these four contestants, only Ramiele is the rookie. As I have read in many of the reviews and comments about them, I learned that David Cook has this regular gig in a bar, and Carly Smithson and Brooke White already has produced albums and that their appearance in American Idol Season 7 is just to show to the world that they can perform and that they’d get as much fans as they could. Well oh well. I think they’re going to have a second round of the Beatles Night next week, I just hope that these four contestants will give their best shot, especially to Ramiele. It’s like she’s always “holding back” while she’s singing. I hope she gets the confidence and I hope she gets Regine Velasquez’s “good luck” wishes to her.  … I am so addicted to these four contestants that it makes me all so hyped-up everytime they perform…and every time they don’t get the approval of the judges, I get really frustrated too that makes me look like I need to get myself into a drug rehab facility. Oh. That’s a hyperbole right there, but really, that’s the truth. I hope they can make it to the next round. And by the way, as many of the people out there pre-assumed that David Archuleta’s going to be the next American Idol, I don’t think you’re on the right track. Yeah right. He is a cutie and has a good voice, but I don’t think he fits the title. I hope America will not only vote for the “charm” but also for the talent. Moreover, I hate David A.’s hand gestures when he sings. He looks so odd. Really.
