My friends from Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, and Bukidnon came over for this year’s festival. Nothing beats being friends, real friends that is. On their first night here, an incident happened: Mama bear’s clutch bag that contains her digital camera, two cellphones, six thousand pesos, and atm cards. We can’t help but sigh on this mishap. If only we knew it was coming, we should not have gone walking late night in the streets of Davao thinking that it would not happen. Yes, not in Davao. Ate Chang wanted to actually buy memory cards to save all their pictures and since it happened, the plan in buying the mem card and all the pictures have already gone. Well. Things happen if they’re meant to happen…and I am already missing breakfast. I hope they’d stop talking about my palpak ampalaya cooking. Sigh

I really had fun last night. Even if I lost my voice again for the nth time, still I had fun. I did not expect that Apple and I will be the ones hosting last night’s talent show. That was spontaneous really. Even with that, I know we have entertained the people well, presented the show fantastically, and danced and sweated the night away as if we have taken in some fat burners for dinner. Oh, I don’t think we had dinner really. Since everyone’s broke, we don’t have much choice but to settle for little food. Anyway, at least we all had fun. I also gained one friend who lives in Quezon/Leyte. This is such a fun Festival. Something I will not forget all my life! It’s time for breakfast.

The Halloween’s just ended—with a blast! After this, what’s next in line? The short hiatus from school and work is near its ending too. Second semester for college folks is approaching. Some of the college peeps I know have already enrolled. One of them enrolled in one of the medical coding training courses, a short-term course and yet so promising. Anyway, I don’t want to end the break yet. I don’t want to go to work on Tuesday. I am even thinking about quitting work because I don’t seem to enjoy it any longer. Is this the effect of the Halloween? Or maybe the effect on wishing for too much vacation.
